i have to tell you. i've been caught up in the news. as horrible as the images are. i can't seem to turn off cnn. to turn off the story of haiti. the devestation is beyond belief as must the suffering be. i think it's important to stay informed. to know what is happening in the world. i'm a bit of a news junkie. but this. i just can't imagine.

things in my world seem so trivial right now. people are caught under buildings. suffering. they've lost everything. there is no food. no water. no medicine. i hope that help can get there in time.
