fruits of my labor.

a little peek at what's been going on in my garden this summer. can you smell the lilies? they are divine. the entire house smells good. they are blooming in profusion this year. must be all the rain we've had. and since they are in profusion. i cut some. and brought them in. i have a huge display on the kitchen table. huge. it's a bit distracting during dinner. but the smell and sight is well worth the obstructed view of the family.


some sweet. purple. sweet peas. and in the background is a hosta leaf - guacamole hosta - i love that name.
