headed out.

we're headed out today. a completely unexpected and unwanted (you never want to go out of town because of a funeral) trip to boulder.

it will be good to see friends and be back in a place i love. it will not be good to have to go to this funeral. very sad. and like i said, unexpected. but i guess that's how life is. somewhat unexpected and sometimes bumpy. but they are friends. good friends and we want to be there for them.

so we'll be in boulder this weekend. and it will be sad. but we will also find a way to work in a bit of joy, too. because that's how life should be.
