conspicuous consumption. day 3 & 4.

so i skipped this post yesterday. out of respect. i didn't think it was appropriate.

and besides. i didn't buy anything. all day. how boring is that?

i'm certainly not helping the recession.

but today. i tried. i shopped. i tried on. i wanted. i so wanted to buy something. but i couldn't. it didn't look right. they didn't have my size. or the color i wanted. the style of bag. the right heel. the brand. ugh. i came home. empty handed. empty.

it was a disappointment. a big. fat. disappointment. maybe tomorrow will be more successful.
